However, it certainly didn't feel like it could hang with a 5.0 mustang (newer of course) or others in that class (stock). Overall, I was fairly satisfied with things 3-5 days into map 5. I know map 5 is auto learn, and it needs those to determine the cars full potential. On my 100+ mile trip, I had 2-3 WOT runs, to 110mph or so. Of course the sport mode shifted higher, and the car definitely felt more lively, but nothing worth screaming about. Punched in map 5 and off we went, for a 100 mile road trip.įirst Impressions: Definitely felt some increases in performance, from the butt dyno. I bought it, along with a drop in a couple weeks ago. I've bought flash tunes on some other cars, and they were pretty good, nothing that blew me away (even with custom dyno tunes).Īnd from all the reviews / testing with jb4, I had high hopes. To me, the price/performance/meth integration/on the fly tuning/map 5 auto-learn was enough incentive. That said, I chose the JB4 over the rest, and like many others, did so after reading a number of threads. However, I have plenty of experience tuning cars and what not, and would consider myself more than capable in the field. Granted, I'm a relatively new user and simply have that with a drop in for performance. I'm making a quick post on my recent experiences with the JB4.
